Edna Rebeca Sarazua, 48, of Kansas City, KS, Edna “Rebeca” Sarazua passed away this Sunday, May 21, 2017 surrounded by family. Born on October 13, 1968 in Guatemala daughter of Marina Del Carmen Carrillo and Marco Antonio Carrillo. She married Victor Leonel Sarazua on January 10, 1987 in Guatemala City. To this union they shared four children, Marlen, Vivian, Alex, and Fernando. Visitation 5 - 6:30 PM Friday at Maple Hill Funeral Home where the funeral service will begin at 6:30. “Rebe” was loved by everyone whom she came in contact with. All her life, she dedicated to the work of her Lord and Savior. Her passion for Children’s and Women’s ministry was something to be admired. The love of Christ also shined through her; her endless compassion and forgiveness is something worth imitating. “Tobe” left a mark on this world. Her legacy will forever be remember in the lives of those whom she took in as her own. She gave love and a home to those who did not have one. She had many more ‘daughters’ that loved her and will greatly miss her. She is survived by her four children Marlen Leon, Vivian Sarazua, Alex Sarazua and Fernando Sarazua, her husband, Leonel Sarazua, two granddaughters, Danica Leon and Emmaryn Leon, three sisters, Ingrid Cruz, Nelly Carrillo, Jeanira Ortega, two brothers, Jorge Mario Carrillo, Raul Carrillo. Edna "Rebeca" Sarazua falleció este domingo, 21 de mayo de 2017 rodeada de su familia. Nacida el 13 de octubre de 1968 en Guatemala hija de Marina Del Carmen Carrillo y Marco Antonio Carrillo. Se casó con Victor Leonel Sarazua el 10 de enero de 1987 en la Ciudad de Guatemala. A esta unión compartieron cuatro niños, Marlen, Vivian, Alex, y Fernando. "Rebe" fue amada por todos los que convivieron con ella. Toda su vida, se dedicó a la obra de su Señor y Salvador. Su pasión por el ministerio de los niños y mujeres era algo que debía admirarse. El amor de Cristo también brilló a través de ella; Su infinita compasión y perdón es algo que vale la pena imitar. "Tobe" dejó una marca en este mundo. Su legado será para siempre para recordar en las vidas de los que tomó como su propia familia. Ella dio amor y un hogar a los que no tenían uno. Ella tenía muchas más "hijas" que la amaban y la extrañarán mucho. Le sobreviven su cuatro hijos, Marlen Leon, Vivian Sarazua, Alex Sarazua, y Fernando Sarazua, su esposo, Leonel Sarazua, dos nietas, Danica León y Emmaryn León, tres hermanas, Ingrid Cruz, Nelly Carrillo, Jeanira Ortega, dos hermanos, Jorge Mario Carrillo, Raúl Carrillo.
