Jeremy Masuch

“I want you to be happy. I want you to laugh a lot. I don’t know what exactly I’ll be able to do for you, but I’ll always be by your side”-Kagome Higurashi Jeremy S. Masuch, 42, passed in the early morning of October 6th, 2021. Jeremy was born on April 12, 1979 in the Golden state of California to Kathryn and Ricky Masuch. Jeremy is preceded in death by his Father Ricky L. Masuch, both paternal and fraternal grandparents. He is survived by the love of his life Heather and his four extraordinary children; Zohreyha, Gabriel, Kiaya, and Xander. Jeremy also leaves behind his two fur babies Hachi and Shiro Kuma. Lastly, he is survived by his beloved mother Kathryn M.L. Masuch and five siblings Amber, Mathew, Kristoffer, Corbin, and Shaina. Jeremy was a knowledgeable and motivated worker in law enforcement, an avid motorcyclist, pc and console video game enthusiast, and an Otaku. Jeremy always made sure as life went forward his children were cultured in all things film, places, and music.Making sure his children could finish his movie and music quotes we could swear was one of his unspoken goals in life. His wife Heather has brought patience, love, and softness into Jeremy's life at the young age of fifteen. They built a life young and learned with and from each-other how to navigate each stepping stone and hurdle they needed to climb together. Heather continually pushed Jeremy to achieve all that he wanted in life and within himself. Jeremy and Heather will always have a special bond in life and eternity that is unmatched by any other couple. Jeremy found his motivation in life from his wife and more with each child as they were born over the years. Jeremy was a strong willed father who would always make sure his children knew right from wrong but that they also learned some lessons on their own and gained their independence. Jeremy will forever be loved and remembered by all his family, friends and all of those who have worked with him. Jeremy has always made sure to leave an imprint on every person he came into contact with, even strangers throughout kansas. Jeremy’s viewing and a short service will be at Maple Hill Funeral home in Kansas City, Kansas on October 13th, 2021. The viewing will be from 2 p.m-3 p.m followed by a short service and memory sharing at 3 p.m-3:30 pm.
