Michael Giovanni Schulze

Michael Giovanni Schulze, mainly known simply as "Mikey" or "Gio" to friends and family, age 21 from Manhattan KS, entered eternal rest on April 18, 2025. Michael was born in Overland Park, KS on January 8th 2004 to Rose Camacho-Schulze and Jon "Rick" Schulze. Along the way in his life, Michael gained three brothers: Anthony, Gabriel, Jonny and three sisters: Angel, Ariana, and Kati. Michael had found his love when he met TaDeja Stewart. TaDeja and her family: Jeffry, Danisha, Benita, Sandra, Takeira, Tru, Kyliana, Marisol, and Kahlani welcomed him with open arms and made him part of their family. Michael and TaDeja adopted their dog, Barrie, to round out their little family. Michael attended Holy Trinity for preschool, Comanche Elementary from Kindergarten through 6th grade, attended middle school at Westridge and graduated from Shawnee Mission West high school. He humbly received awards and scholarships for his art and writing that helped him attend Rockhurst University, where he majored in English. He lived on campus and loved it but wanted to explore rather than stay for the remainder of his course there. After such Michael had found a job working for the Manhattan school district, which he loved and they loved him right back. Michael had a joy for reading and his happy places were libraries and bookstores where he could spend days if they let him. He enjoyed the arts of all sorts. Whether attending rock concerts, museums, plays, symphonies, WWE tours, he had a great appreciation for them all. He had an insatiable appetite for learning and looked for the deeper meaning in everything. Mikey enjoyed traveling and exploring to find new places and adventures. He liked the outdoors, fishing, and went above and beyond spoiling and helping others Michael had a smile that could bring cheer to everyone. He was always proper and well-mannered and went out of his way to not be a bother to others. He definitely lived up to his name. Archangel Michael. He is in a place where he can look over us all. We will miss him here on earth. Until we meet again, our sweet boy. You were definitely too wholesome, too virtuous, too pure for this world.
