Trudie Mae (Stuckey) Carpenter, 95 passed away 27 Sep 2021. Trudie was born 13 Nov 1925 to Guy David Stuckey and Floyce Vivian (Day) Stuckey in Many, Sabine Parish, Louisiana. She was the Eldest of ten children. She married Waymon G. Carpenter 24 Oct 1946, in Gilmer Texas. They raised three children; a son Wayne, and two daughters Bobbie and Gwen. She was preceded in death by Waymon her husband of 65 years, a daughter Bobbie Renshaw; and 2 grandsons Eric Renshaw and Mikey Mazur her parents, 5 brothers, Edward Stuckey, D.J. Stuckey, Carl Stuckey, Guy Clinton Stuckey, Jerry Stuckey, and a sister, Lorean Stuckey. Surviving are her son Wayne Carpenter, daughters-in-law Shari Carpenter and Anita Carpenter; daughter Gwen and son-in-law David Kerschbaum; 3 sisters Helen Guillory, Clara and brother-in-law Don Williams, Ruby and brother-in-law Tommy Cole all from Lousiana. There is 9 grandchildren Stephen Carpenter, Leland and his wife Margie Carpenter, Krissie Bash, TJ and Her husband Michael Runnels, Edward Johnston, Annette Mazur, Suzannah Renshaw; 17 greatgrand children: Lauren S. Joround her husband Jesse, Alysha and her husband Justin Grant, Jesse, Colby and Austin Carpenter, Alex and Eryka Bash, Geraldine and Christopher Childes, Kaitlin and Autumn Runnels, Joshua and Christenia Johnston, Gracie and Noah Renshaw; 6 great-great grandchildren Makena Andreasen, Peyton Martin, Braden Sjoround, Alexander Childs, Zayn Anthony Childs, and Everlynn Rose Childs; extended family members include Marc and Cecilia Stuckey and Tracie and John Arana of Las Vegas, Bianca Nicole Runnels, Daniel Verser Lunsford, Bryleigh Mae Lunsford and Dawson Blaine Lunsford Cody Allen Runnels, Mathew Tyler Runnels and Logan Cole Runnels, Travis and Melissa Korn, Jenifer Getty, Mary and Chris Hogan, Alex Getty-Ritch, Ian Getty-Ritch and Max Hogan. Trudie had many hobbies throughout her life were cooking, crocheting, ceramics, sewing, flower gardening, and bird watching. After many years working for Singer Sewing Company she retired to enjoy her crafts, hobbies and her family. Most of all she enjoyed her family. There will be a visitation on October 15, 2021 from 1 - 3PM, at Maple Hill Funeral Home, in Kansas City, Kansas.
