Angel Chavira Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Angel Chavira, 31, from Kansas City, KS, passed away unexpectedly on June 22nd, 2022. He was the son of Carolina Duke and Fernando Lazo, born in Anaheim, CA on May 7th, 1991. As a child, Angel was described as mature, laid back, and playful. From a very young age, Angel liked to dress sharp and was very meticulous about the details that went into his outfits. He hated getting dirty. His pants were always well pressed and starched and his shirts and shoes were always white and spotless. Angel liked spending time with his friends outside, listening to music, and practicing his hand lettering fonts. He complained about being the only man of the house, and yet he took a role that was not his, being a protector to his sisters and mother. Thankfully, he was lucky to be surrounded by a great group of friends who were like brothers to him. As an adult, Angel enjoyed going to car shows and restoring his 1978 Monte Carlo. A painter and construction worker for over 9 years at LPS painting, Angel took pride in being a hardworking man and was extremely loyal in both his workplace and his personal relationships. More than just an employee, the owner regarded him as a close friend. Underneath his tough appearance, Angel had a heart of gold and was quick to lend a helping hand to the people important to him. Angel lived for his family. He shared a son, Angel Blue Chavira, with the love of his life Flor Ontiveros. Angel viewed being a father as his greatest accomplishment. Angel is survived by his son Blue, the love of his life Flor, his mother Carolina, his father Fernando, his stepfather Chris, his sisters Cynthia, Vanessa, Isabel, Maribel, Anabell, and Brianna, his brothers Fernando Jr. and Matt, his maternal grandparents Alejandra and Carlos, his uncles Carlos, Steve and Ulysses, his immediate cousins, Vanessa, Luz Marina, Daniel, David, Adrian, Julie, and many more close family members and friends.
