Barbara “Bobbie” Gail Greenleaf, 70, of Kansas City, KS, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at home surrounded by family. She was born December 6, 1949, in Griffin, Georgia, the daughter of James Hall and Eunice (Walker) Bemke. Barbara worked as an Executive Assistant at Sprint until retirement. After retirement, she continued working for Children’s Mercy. She was a member of Overland Park First Assembly of God Church. Barbara enjoyed reading magazines and deepening her faith. Most importantly she treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and children. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Eunice; and two siblings, Judy Brown and Tommy Hall. Survivors include her two children, Lindsey Robert (Travis Rich) of Kansas City, KS and Andrew Greenleaf (Mindye) of Butler, MO; grandchildren, Joshua, Carson, Jordan, Christian, Theron, Maddye, Colin, Peyton, and Grace; siblings, Linda Wheeler (James) of Middleburg, FL and Deborah Kennedy (Gene) of West Jefferson, NC; and many nieces, nephews, and great friends. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 6PM Sunday, July 5, 2020 at her residence (5428 Metropolitan Ave, Kansas City, KS 66106).
