Betty Joan Carey, 84, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away April 27, 2022. Betty Joan was born on February 18, 1938, the daughter of Hubert and Gladys Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her husband James R. Carey, Sr.; 2 sons Jay Carey and Tony Carey; both of her parents and brother Robert Reynolds. She is survived by her daughter Tina Carey; son James Carey, Jr.; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 3 from 1-2pm, with a funeral service starting at 2pm all at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
