Jose Luis Ramirez Sr, 74, born in Tangancicuaro, Michoacan, Mexico resident of Kansas City, KS passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on November 28, 2021. Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his parents Agustin and Maria Esther Ramirez, his wife Phyllis M. Ramirez, son Pedro David and granddaughter Vivionana R. Ramirez, (siblings) Miguel Ramirez, Consuela Ramirez Arriaga and Roberto Ramirez, Sr. He is survived by his 4 children, Jose L. Ramirez, Jr (Michelle) Kansas City, KS, Juan M. Ramirez, Overland Park, KS, Soledad A. McWilliams (Darren), Olathe, KS, Ricardo C. Ramirez, Kansas City, KS, 3 brothers, Agustin Ramirez (Maria) of Kansas City, KS, Jesus Ramirez Mendez of Kansas City, KS, Arturo Ramirez Mendez (Maria) of Wilmington, CA, 3 sisters, Maria Teresa Fernandez (Jesus) of Wilmington, CA, Maria Luisa Ramirez De Aguilar of Uruapan, MX, Maria Guadalupe Lopez (Serafin) of Kansas City, KS and 8 grandchildren Alec W. Ramirez, Antonio J. Ramirez, Juliana M. McWilliams, Jonas Q. Ramirez, Emilio L. Ramirez, Alannah J. McWilliams, Roman J. Ramirez, Noah J. Ramirez. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM with rosary at 7:00 PM, Thursday December 9, 2021 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. The Funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday December 10, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Following the funeral mass his final resting will be scheduled at a later date at the Maple Hill Cemetery Niche following cremation. Donations in remembrance of Jose Luis Ramirez Sr can be made to the family and will be presented to the Sister Servants of Mary Organization. Masks and social distancing are required.
