Margie E. Rangel, 86, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away on October 7, 2021 surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held from 1-2 P.M. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2 P.M. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Margie was born the daughter of Ernest and Mary Grandstaff on May 8, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri. On December 10th, 1951, Margie married the love of her life, Leonard Owen Rangel. Margie’s biggest passion was loving and caring for her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Owen Rangel; son, Larry Owen Rangel; daughter, Kathleen Yvonne Ross; brother, Ernest Grandstaff Jr.; and sister, Etta Lyman. Margie is survived by her sons, Leonard Michael Rangel and Jason Ron Rangel; daughter, Neva Gail Ditto; 9 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
