Michael Charles Hover

Michael Charles Hover, 72, of Tonganoxie, KS, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Providence Medical Center. Michael was born April 17, 1948 in Kansas City, MO the son of Oscar and Frances Hover. He was a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his service in the military, he continued to serve the community as a Law Enforcement Officer for forty six years until retiring. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Frances. He is survived by his wife, Barbara "Bobbie" Hover; two children, Sean Hover and wife Amy of Tonganoxie and Kimberly Christopher and husband Ryan of Basehor; four grandchildren, Mikayla, Matthew, Corbin, and Kinley; and two siblings, David Hover and Nancy Nelson. Services will be determined at a later date.
