Roberto Ramirez, 71, born in Tangancicuaro, Michoacan, Mexico, resident of Kansas City, KS passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones, on February 13, 2021. Roberto is preceded in death by his parents; Agustin Ramirez Madrigal & Maria Esther Ramirez, his granddaughter; Beatriz K. Ramirez; siblings Miguel Ramirez Mendez, Consuelo Ramirez. Roberto is survived by his wife; Evelyn K. Ramirez, 6 children; Roberto (Jennifer) Ramirez, Jr., Rafael (Martha) Ramirez, Maria Margarita (Guadalupe) Arzaga, Leticia (Mario) Pompa, David (Kristy) Ramirez, Gloria R. Williams. 11 grandchildren; Martha L. Ramirez, Marisa G. Ramirez, Mireya G. Ramirez, Rafael A. Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez III, Phoebe L. Ramirez, Daniel C. Ramirez, Celestina K. Ramirez, Isabella J. Ramirez, Isela G. Ramirez, David Ramirez, Jr., and 1 great grandson Julian Cortez Cooper Ramirez. Siblings; Agustin (Maria) Ramirez, Jose Luis (Phyllis +) Ramirez, Maria Teresa (Jesus) Fernandez, Maria Luisa Ramirez De Aguilar, Maria Guadalupe (Serafin) Lopez, Jesus Ramirez Mendez, Arturo (Maria) Ramirez Mendez. In his younger years, our dad's love for music, dance, soccer and most importantly faith, were established. In 1972, he began his family with his wife in Kansas City, Kansas. He worked as a machine operator at the Unified Government of Wyandotte County for 34 years. As a loving father, he showed his children their faith and how to stay united through any obstacles they encounter. Roberto had a big heart, he was giving and always willing to help others. He collected items to be able to give to those in need. He constantly was making our family laugh with his dad jokes. The foundation he built and legacy he leaves behind will forever be instilled in his family. Visitation will be 6 - 8:30 PM rosary at 7:00 PM, Monday, February 22 at Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle, 416 N.14th Street, Kansas City, Ks 66102, where the funeral mass will be recited at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 23. Following the funeral mass his final resting will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, 2301 S. 34th Street, Kansas City, Ks. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family asks to please remember to practice social distancing. Mask are required. Hand sanitizer will be provided at the door.
