Sheryl Renae Rodriguez, 56, of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Providence Medical Center. She was born September 3, 1965 in Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of Tommy and Wanda McNett. She graduated from Turner High School in 1984. On November 7, 1987 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Joseph Michael Rodriguez. Sheryl has a Bachelor of Science degree and worked as a CNA. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved to take care of her grandkids anyway she could and loved to crochet as well as help others doing whatever they needed help with. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; daughter Crystal D. Rodriguez; parents Tommy and Wanda; her brother Troy McNett, a niece, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as a few good friends. She is survived by four children, Michael J. Rodriguez (Patty) of Great Bend Ks. , Jose M. Rodriguez of Ellsworth Ks. , Nicholas A. Rodriguez (Cassie) of Leavenworth KS., and Chenoa N. Bakken (Trey) of Leavenworth Ks.; her 8 grandchildren Antonio Rodriguez, Anakin Rodriguez, Ashlyn Rodriguez, Athena Rodriguez, Mariah Rodriguez, Aurora Rodriguez, Grayson Rodriguez and Gabriel Rodriguez.; Her two sisters Deborah Davidson of Lenexa KS., Carmen Daughtrey ( Ronald) of Bates city.;her best friend Mendy Kolman of Kansas City KS; several aunts and uncles, and several nieces and nephews as well as great friends. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Maple HIll with burial following at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
