Victoria Lee Mathis, “Vickie” passed away March 7, 2022 at Kansas City Hospice House after a brave battle with cancer. Vickie was one in a million, to know Vickie was to love Vickie. She was a rare gem, her laugh and smile were contagious. She was the life of the party and never knew a stranger. She is preceded in death by her first husband James Reich Sr.; second husband Bob Mathis; father, Charles Marvine; Mother and stepfather, Lois and Jesse Turner; sister Carolyn Walker; brothers Bob and Chuck Marvine. She leaves behind the light of her life, her beloved son Jamie Reich; brothers, Mark Marvine and wife Anita and Don Turner and wife Karon; sister, Sharon Conaty; partner in life David Negrete, three grandchildren and grandbaby Chad; step son Robert Mathis and wife Chrystal and their two children; stepdaughter Vikki Reich and family; four nieces; nine nephews; five great nieces; three great nephews; and so many dear friends. “Do not weep for me. I have not gone. I am the memory that dwells in the hearts of those who knew me. I am the shadow that dances on the edge of your vision. I am the wind that you feel on your face. I am the sun shining upon your face. I am the diamond that glistens in the snow and I am the star that shines so bright in the night.” - Staci (niece) A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
