William Eugene Roberts

William "Bill" Eugene Roberts, 80, of Kingsville, Mo passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Bill was born on February 15, 1940, the eldest son of Earl Roberts and Lorene Greene (nee Ford). He played both football and basketball while at Westport High School. He worked for Safeway Stores, Inc; but was at his happiest when he owned his own ReMax office in Carlsbad, Ca. Bill was a lifelong Chiefs fan; even when he lived near San Diego, he would dress in Chiefs regalia to go to games in San Diego. He loved music and had a beautiful tenor voice. He also played the trumpet, trombone, guitar, and played at piano. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; brother Keith Roberts and sister Eileen Roberts. He is survived by his daughter Anne Roberts; brothers Carl Roberts and Richard Greene and sisters Irene Noyes, Maxine Leas, and Coreen Freeman. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, February 10, at 2PM at Maple Hill Cemetery.
