Dagoberto "Alberto" Galván LMV, 60, falleció jueves, 01 de diciembre de 2016 en KU Medical Center. Él es sobrevividó por Gloria, su esposa de 28 años, sus hijos; Dagoberto Jr(hijo) & Samantha; Angel(hijo) & Gail, Daniel(hijo) y Angela, Yesenia(hija) & Joey, Selena(hija) y Santiago(hijo), nietas Ashley, Kayla, Mireya y Raina y sus nietos Elijah, Armando, Damien, Izaiah, Ralph, Emiliano y Vincenzo, hermanos Manuel, José, Javier y Rene, hermanas Alma, Sandra, Sonia, Martha y Perla, sus Cuñados, sus sobrinas, sobrinos, ahijados, ahijadas y todos los que él mantuvo en su corazón como sus hijos. Él fue precedido en la muerte de sus padres, Manuel y Antonia Galvan y sus hermanos Yolanda, Armilda, Rogelio, Alfonso y Orlando. Nació el 21 de mayo de 1956, en Edinburg, Tx, Dagoberto pasó sus primeros años viviendo entre el valle del río Grande y la frontera mexicana. A los 11 años, como mucho de su generación, dejó la escuela para comenzar a trabajar en el campo para ayudar a mantener a su familia. Trabajo en muchos lugares a lo largo de Texas y las áreas al norte y nos diría historias de las penas que soportó para asegurar que su familia tenía lo que necesitaban. Esta ética de trabajo permaneció con él durante toda su vida, trabajó muchas horas en tiempo de invierno para darnos todo lo que pudo, como mecánico o en el camino como propietario de un vivero en Texas. Mientras vivía en Kansas City, comenzo su carrera musical como vocalista y guitarrista con sus hermanos y amigos como LOS BRONCOS del NORTE. Viajaron el país de gira con algunos de los artistas mexicanos más destacados y bandas de la región suroeste y México de ese tiempo. Hizo innumerables amigos a través de los años y trato a todos con respeto. Todos sus amigos sabían que podrían contar con "Alberto" para ayudar a cada vez que lo necesitaban. Era un hombre que amaba a su familia y siempre te saludaba con un firme apretón de manos o un fuerte abrazo. Siempre será amoroso recordado por aquellos que lo conocieron, pero sobre todo por sus nietos, aunque haber tenido menos tiempo con él, lo amaban y lo admiraban tanto como a los que fueron bendecidos por haberle tenido mucho más tiempo. La visita será de 12:00 a 2:00 PM en la Funeraria Maple Hills en el 3300 Shawnee Dr, Kansas City, KS el domingo 18 de diciembre, seguido inmediatamente por un servicio conmemorativo de 2:00 a 4:00 pm. Le pedimos, como un homenaje a la memoria de nuestro Padre, que tomen tiempo para visitar a familiares o amigos ancianos o enfermos para mostrarles que todavía son especiales para usted. Siempre ayudaba a todos y quisiéramos que todos cuidaran a sus familias y amigos de la misma manera que el lo hizo toda su vida. Dagoberto Galvan LMV, 60, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at KU Medical Center. He is survived by Gloria Murillo, his wife of 28 years, their sons; Dagoberto Jr & Samantha, Angel & Gail, Daniel & Angela and Santiago; daughters, Yesenia & Joey and Selena; granddaughters Ashley, Kayla, Mireya and Raina, and grandsons Elijah, Armando, Damien, Izaiah, Ralph, Emiliano and Vincenzo, brothers Manuel, Jose, Javier, and Rene, sisters Alma, Sandra, Sonia, Marta and Perla, as well as many, nieces, nephews, godchildren and those he held in his heart as his children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel & Antonia Galvan, and their children Yolanda, Armilda, Rogelio, Alfonso, and Orlando. Born in Edinburg, TX on May 21, 1956, Dagoberto spent his early years living between the Rio Grande Valley and the Mexican Frontier. At age 11 he left school to begin working in the fields to help support his family as many children did during this time. He would work in many places throughout Texas and areas to the north and would tell us stories of the hardships he endured to ensure his family had what they needed. This work ethic remained with him throughout his life as he worked many hours in cold winter weather to give us all he could, whether it was as a mechanic or on the road as a nursery owner in Texas. His eventual move north also set him on his path towards a musical career as one of the lead vocalists and guitarists with his brothers and friends as LOS BRONCOS del NORTE. They traveled the country touring with some of the most prominent Mexican artists and bands of the Southwest region and Mexico at the time. He made countless friends through the years and treated everyone with respect. Many a friend knew they could count on "Alberto" to assist whenever they needed him. He was a man who loved his family and always greeted you with a firm handshake or a strong hug. He will always be remembered by those that knew him, but especially his grandchildren who, even with having had less time with him, loved and admired him as much as those who were blessed to have had him much longer.
