In Loving Memory of Joshua Paul Aguilar It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joshua Paul Aguilar, a vibrant soul who departed this world at the age of 34 while pursuing his passion for free diving in the coral reefs of Mexico. Joshua embraced life with the exuberance of a child, finding joy in swimming with turtles and immersing himself in the beauty of the water. Joshua was not only an adventurer but also a brilliant software engineer, showcasing his talent in the ever-critical realm of cyber security. Before that, he served as a skilled RN emergency room nurse, demonstrating compassion and dedication to those in need. A warrior for Christ, Joshua radiated a luminous spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to share in his presence. Through trials and tribulations, he discovered genuine love and became a beacon of light for his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his wife, soon-to-be son, mother, father, and four sisters and their families. Joshua had dreams of writing a book that harmonized occult teachings with the divine word of God, passing on his wisdom to his son by teaching him coding, swimming, fishing, and instilling a profound love for the Lord. In his final moments, Joshua expressed sheer happiness, leaving us with a poignant reminder of the joy he found in living life to the fullest. May his memory inspire us all to embrace each day with the same passion and enthusiasm that defined his remarkable journey. A memorial service in honor of Joshua will take place on Saturday, December 30th at Maple Hill Funeral Home, located at 3300 Shawnee Dr, Kansas City, KS 66106. The viewing will commence at 10 a.m., followed by a ceremony from 11 a.m. to noon, where we will come together to celebrate the life of a beloved husband, son, brother, friend, and unwavering disciple of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to aid in covering the costs of expatriation. Joshua’s sudden departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will endure in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in eternal peace. A celebration of life will be held on December 31, 2023 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Agricultural Hall of Fame located at 630 N 126th St, Bonner Springs, KS 66012
