Terry Dale Odom

Terry Dale Odom, 36, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on November 12, 2023. Terry, also known as T.D., was born on November 28, 1986 to his father, Terry Frye, and mother, Patricia Ponder. He is survived by his son, Tyson David Odom, wife/babe Kristina Marron, his father, Terry Frye, his mother Patricia Ponder, step father Lonnie Ponder, sisters Tricia Odom and Lisa Strup, brothers in law Sean Strup and Manuel Marron, mother in law Lydia Alaniz, step sisters Melissa Ponder and Rachel Marshall and their families, and all his nieces and nephews with the one great nephew Sean Conrad. He will forever love his family including his aunts, cousins and uncles. T.D., Duckitz, Touchdown Terry, T-Dizzle and many more names, T.D. brought joy wherever he was at, whether that was relaxing with his babe and their family outside their pool, jumping off trees during family float trips or at the UPS facility, where he worked for over 13 years. T.D. was the best host for family and friends. He always enjoyed a party and made sure everyone felt welcomed. Showing of what he liked was important to him, like the tattoos that represented the things he cherished. Pictures of his grandma and his dog, Kush, on his chest and the phrase, "If it don't make dollars it don't make sense" on his arm and "Everything happens for a reason", draped down his back. T.D. was truly a kid at heart, swinging from the tree and into his pool, to then playing ping pong, arcade cabinets, displaying action figure collections of his favorite characters like The Joker, Jef Hardy and Goku and most importantly, his prized Impala SS. His happy place included decked out TVs, LED lights, good music, and the loudest speakers on the planet—if you were ever invited, without a doubt you had a wonderful time. Along with Kristina, his 12-year-old son, Tyson "Buddy", they will carry on his legacy. Tyson is a spitting image of TD, right down to the baby face and love for all things out of the ordinary. TD will always be remembered as a person with the biggest heart, lots of laughter, very unique and full of life. The Odom family would like to thank everyone for al the love and support during these difficult times. He was truly loved and his bond with each one of you was special in his own way.
